By completing a purchase, reservation, rental, ticket purchase, or participation in an experience with Tangle & Verse, all guests ("Guests") acknowledge and agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. These Terms govern all transactions, reservations, rentals, tours, transportation services, experiences, and products offered by Tangle & Verse.
GUEST ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS
By booking an arrangement, experience, tour, rental, transportation service, or reservation with Tangle & Verse, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, as well as any applicable terms and conditions of third-party suppliers, venues, lodging partners, restaurants, transportation providers, museums, attractions, or service providers associated with your reservation or experience.
The lead Guest (defined as the individual making the reservation) assumes responsibility for sharing these Terms & Conditions with all members of their party, including responsibility for all payments, fees, damages, and charges associated with the reservation.
It is the responsibility of each Guest to read these Terms & Conditions in their entirety. Tangle & Verse is not responsible for any Guest's lack of awareness of these Terms due to the failure of the lead Guest to share such information.
By completing a reservation, you represent and warrant that:
(a) you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding agreements;
(b) you are legally authorized to act on behalf of all Guests included in your reservation; and
(c) all information provided by you and/or your party is truthful and accurate.
You understand and agree that you are financially responsible for all reservations, rentals, purchases, fees, damages, and charges incurred by you and members of your party.
Tangle & Verse reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or terminate any reservation, rental, tour, transportation service, or experience at its sole discretion if a Guest violates these Terms & Conditions or engages in behavior deemed unsafe, unlawful, disruptive, abusive, destructive, intoxicated, threatening, or otherwise inconsistent with the nature of the experience.
DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY & RELEASE
Tangle & Verse acts as an independent contractor that provides and/or arranges curated experiences, tours, rentals, hospitality services, transportation services, transportation coordination, and related activities.
Neither Tangle & Verse nor its agents or affiliates act as an agent for Guests or as an agent for any third-party company or individual providing services in connection with an experience, including but not limited to lodging providers, restaurants, museums, cultural institutions, transportation providers, venues, or sightseeing locations.
Guests voluntarily participate in all experiences with the understanding that risks may be present, including but not limited to transportation-related risks, outdoor terrain, weather conditions, wildlife, uneven surfaces, stairs, grass, gravel, mud, walking paths, farms, gardens, natural landscapes, public spaces, and interactions with third parties.
Guests acknowledge that many experiences occur outdoors and may involve uneven terrain, grass, gravel, mud, inclines, wildlife, changing weather conditions, and other naturally occurring environmental conditions.
Guests expressly assume all risks associated with participation and agree not to bring claims against Tangle & Verse for bodily injury, illness, emotional distress, property damage, financial loss, inconvenience, delays, or other damages arising out of participation in any experience, tour, rental, transportation arrangement, or related activity.
Tangle & Verse reserves the right to decline or remove any Guest from an experience whose behavior, conduct, intoxication, physical condition, or mental condition is deemed disruptive, unsafe, abusive, destructive, or detrimental to the welfare of the group or experience. No refund shall be provided in such circumstances.
INTERPRETATION & DISPUTES
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
All disputes, claims, or causes of action arising under or related to these Terms & Conditions, any reservation, rental, transportation service, tour, or experience shall be brought exclusively in Berkshire County, Massachusetts.
Any cause of action or claim must be commenced within one (1) year after the cause of action arises.
FORCE MAJEURE
Tangle & Verse shall not be responsible for, and may provide no refund, credit, or compensation due to cancellations, delays, route changes, venue substitutions, or disruptions caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to severe weather, storms, floods, snowfall, foliage variability, fire, strikes, terrorism, war, civil disturbance, government restrictions, pandemics, illness, road closures, supplier cancellations, venue closures, transportation interruptions, public health emergencies, labor shortages, operational decisions of third parties, or other similar events beyond the control of Tangle & Verse.
PHOTOGRAPHY & SOCIAL MEDIA
Tangle & Verse may photograph or capture portions of experiences, tours, rentals, and events for promotional, editorial, marketing, website, and social media purposes.
By participating in a Tangle & Verse experience, Guests grant Tangle & Verse permission to use photographs, video, or likenesses captured during the experience without compensation or additional approval unless otherwise requested in writing prior to the experience.
Guests are encouraged to share their experiences online; however, Tangle & Verse reserves the right to repost or share publicly tagged content for promotional purposes.
PICNIC BUNDLES & EQUIPMENT
Care and Responsibility
Tangle & Verse Chic Picnic Bundles include curated hospitality goods, décor, equipment, and related accessories ("Equipment") provided for Guest use during the rental experience.
Guests are responsible for ensuring all Equipment is properly cared for, protected from weather and misuse, secured during the rental period, and returned in the same condition in which it was received, normal wear and tear excepted.
Each Chic Picnic Bundle contains premium curated goods and equipment with a combined replacement value exceeding $1,500 per bundle.
DAMAGE, LOSS, THEFT & REPLACEMENT FEES
Guests are solely responsible for the care, custody, and timely return of all items included in their Chic Picnic Bundle rental.
By completing a reservation, Guests expressly authorize Tangle & Verse to charge the card on file for any missing, stolen, damaged, broken, excessively soiled, or non-returned items, including applicable replacement costs, service fees, shipping charges, and Massachusetts sales tax.
In addition to replacement costs, a $25 service/replacement processing fee will be applied per damaged or missing item, up to a maximum of four (4) items per reservation.

Tangle & Verse reserves the right to determine reasonable repair and/or replacement costs in its sole discretion.
RETURN OF EQUIPMENT POLICY
Equipment must be returned at the agreed-upon location and time specified by Tangle & Verse. Failure to return Equipment on time may result in additional fees and charges.
If Equipment is not returned as agreed and such failure causes Tangle & Verse to be unable to fulfill a subsequent reservation or rental commitment, Tangle & Verse reserves the right to charge the Guest up to three (3) times the original rental amount, in addition to any applicable replacement costs, service fees, lost revenue, shipping expenses, or related damages incurred as a result of the delayed or non-returned Equipment.
TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
Transportation services offered in connection with Tangle & Verse experiences may be provided using vehicles owned and operated by Tangle & Verse, vehicles rented from reputable third-party rental agencies, licensed third-party transportation providers, or any combination thereof.
Unless otherwise specified, tours depart from and return to the Tangle & Verse office located at 55 Pittsfield Road, Lenox, Massachusetts.
Guests are responsible for arriving at the designated departure location no later than the scheduled departure time. No refunds, credits, or compensation shall be provided for missed departures resulting from guest lateness, failure to appear, or inability to arrive at the designated location.
Guests acknowledge that participation in transportation services involves ordinary risks associated with motor vehicle travel, including but not limited to traffic conditions, weather, road hazards, mechanical issues, and the actions of other motorists.
Transportation schedules, pickup locations, departure times, routes, vehicles, and transportation providers may be modified, substituted, delayed, or canceled when reasonably necessary for operational, safety-related, weather-related, logistical, mechanical, regulatory, or other unforeseen circumstances. Tangle & Verse reserves the right to substitute vehicles or transportation providers at its discretion when necessary to safely and reasonably deliver the reserved service.
Guests are encouraged to maintain their own health, travel, and personal property insurance coverage. Tangle & Verse does not provide medical, travel, or personal property insurance for guests.
Tangle & Verse shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, missed performances, missed reservations, missed events, inconveniences, related expenses, property loss, personal injury, or other damages arising from traffic conditions, weather, road closures, accidents, mechanical failures, acts or omissions of third-party transportation providers, public events, venue operations, concert delays, event extensions, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Transportation services are provided solely as a convenience to guests and are subject to all applicable laws, regulations, insurance requirements, and operational limitations.
TOUR DEPARTURE & RETURN TIMES
All published departure and return times are estimates and are provided for planning purposes only.
Guests are required to arrive at the designated departure location prior to the scheduled departure time. Tours will depart promptly as scheduled.
Return times may vary due to traffic, weather, venue operations, road conditions, meal service, guest requests, photo opportunities, itinerary modifications, or other circumstances encountered throughout the experience.
Guests acknowledge that actual return times may be earlier or later than published estimates and agree that Tangle & Verse shall not be liable for missed appointments, transportation arrangements, reservations, or other commitments resulting from such variations.
GUEST-INITIATED ITINERARY CHANGES
Guests may request reasonable modifications to the pace, duration, or sequence of certain activities during an experience. Tangle & Verse may accommodate such requests at its sole discretion when operationally feasible.
Guests acknowledge that such accommodations may affect the timing of other itinerary elements, including estimated return times, and no refunds, credits, or compensation shall be provided for activities, destinations, or timing adjustments resulting from guest-requested changes.
WEATHER & ITINERARY CHANGES
Weather, road conditions, venue availability, operational issues, or unforeseen circumstances may require route changes, itinerary adjustments, substitutions, delays, or destination modifications.
Specific destinations, attractions, dining venues, guides, museums, cultural institutions, or featured stops may be modified, substituted, delayed, or replaced with comparable alternatives when necessary due to availability, operational considerations, weather conditions, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond the control of Tangle & Verse.
Tangle & Verse reserves the right to modify experiences, routes, timing, vendors, stops, or destinations at its sole discretion in order to maintain safety, operational feasibility, or overall experience quality.
SMOKING, VAPING & CANNABIS USE
Smoking, vaping, or the use of tobacco, cannabis, or similar products is strictly prohibited in all Tangle & Verse vehicles.
Guests are responsible for complying with all applicable smoking, vaping, tobacco, and cannabis-use policies established by museums, cultural institutions, restaurants, lodging properties, attractions, venues, and other locations visited during an experience.
Tangle & Verse reserves the right to restrict smoking, vaping, or cannabis use when necessary to maintain guest comfort, safety, property requirements, or operational logistics.
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in removal from the experience without refund.
ALL SALES FINAL & CANCELLATION POLICY
All purchases, reservations, rentals, tickets, deposits, and experiences offered by Tangle & Verse are final and non-refundable.
Tangle & Verse specializes in small-group, boutique, and highly curated experiences that require advance planning, limited-capacity reservations, transportation scheduling, dining arrangements, attraction admissions, staffing commitments, and other pre-paid or reserved services.
Once a reservation is confirmed, Tangle & Verse immediately commits resources and inventory that may not be recoverable or resold if a Guest cancels.
Accordingly, no cancellations, modifications, exchanges, credits, transfers, or refunds will be provided for any reason, including but not limited to changes in personal plans, illness, weather preferences, transportation disruptions, scheduling conflicts, or failure to participate in all or part of an experience.
Guests are strongly encouraged to consider purchasing travel insurance or trip cancellation coverage if desired.
In the event Tangle & Verse cancels an experience and is unable to provide a comparable alternative, Guests will receive a refund of amounts paid directly to Tangle & Verse. Tangle & Verse shall not be responsible for lodging, transportation, meals, airfare, lost wages, or any incidental expenses.
WALKABILITY & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Tangle & Verse experiences are designed to be accessible to most Guests and generally require only short walks between parking areas, attractions, restaurants, and points of interest.
Guests should expect occasional walking on uneven terrain, grass, gravel, stairs, soft inclines, fields, gardens, and outdoor pathways.
Required walking associated with the experience is generally limited to approximately one-quarter (¼) mile at a time; however, individual walking distances may vary significantly based on each Guest's personal interests, shopping activities, museum exploration, photography stops, and other self-directed activities during free time.
Guests acknowledge and accept responsibility for determining whether a Tangle & Verse experience is appropriate for their own physical abilities and limitations.
FALL FOLIAGE EXPERIENCES
The timing, intensity, visibility, and coloration of fall foliage are naturally variable and dependent upon weather patterns, temperature fluctuations, rainfall, storms, drought conditions, seasonal timing, and other environmental factors beyond the control of Tangle & Verse.
Accordingly, Tangle & Verse makes no guarantee regarding peak foliage, specific colors, leaf conditions, scenic visibility, or seasonal timing during any experience.
No refunds, credits, or compensation shall be provided due to foliage timing, weather conditions, route modifications, snow cover, bare trees, visibility conditions, or other naturally occurring environmental factors.
AGE REQUIREMENT
All experiences, rentals, and curated offerings are strictly limited to Guests aged 18 years or older unless otherwise expressly stated or authorized by Tangle & Verse.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Tangle & Verse with respect to your reservation, rental, experience, tour, transportation service, and/or purchase.
Any waiver of any provision of these Terms shall be effective only if in writing and signed by Tangle & Verse.
These Terms shall inure to the benefit of Tangle & Verse, its successors, affiliates, and assigns.

Such providers act solely as independent contractors.
Tangle & Verse may issue tickets, confirmations, reservations, vouchers, or related documents on behalf of third-party providers. Such services remain subject to the terms and conditions of those respective providers, some of whom may limit or exclude liability.
Tangle & Verse, its agents, affiliates, owners, employees, and representatives shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, injury, illness, death, delay, inconvenience, disappointment, or expense arising out of or related to any act, omission, negligence, accident, error, delay, cancellation, default, or conduct of any third-party provider or any defect in any vehicle, equipment, property, or venue.
Tangle & Verse shall additionally not be liable for occurrences beyond its control, including but not limited to weather, traffic, road closures, strikes, venue closures, supplier cancellations, theft, acts of terrorism, civil unrest, government actions, public health events, natural disasters, or acts of God.
Guests agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Tangle & Verse and its affiliates, owners, employees, representatives, successors, and assigns from and against any and all liability, damages, claims, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from Guest participation in any experience, rental, or activity, including damages caused directly or indirectly by Guests or members of their party.

In the event of any dispute, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs.
If any provision of these Terms is deemed unenforceable or invalid, such provision shall be modified only to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. If modification is not possible, the provision shall be severed, and all remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Any cause of action or claim must be commenced within one (1) year after the cause of action arises.

All purchases, reservations, rentals, tickets, and experiences made through Tangle & Verse are final and non-refundable due to the bespoke, limited-availability, seasonal, and pre-arranged nature of the offerings.
No cancellations, modifications, exchanges, credits, or refunds will be provided once a reservation or order has been confirmed.

Guests acknowledge that participation in transportation services involves inherent risks, including but not limited to traffic conditions, weather, road hazards, vehicle malfunctions, accidents, delays, route changes, and circumstances beyond the control of Tangle & Verse.
Transportation schedules, pickup locations, departure times, routes, vehicles, and service providers may be modified by Tangle & Verse when reasonably necessary for operational, safety-related, weather-related, logistical, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Guests are responsible for arriving at the designated departure location at the scheduled departure time. No refunds, credits, or compensation shall be provided for missed departures resulting from Guest lateness, failure to appear, or inability to arrive at the designated location.
Transportation services may be affected by traffic, weather, road closures, accidents, venue conditions, construction, public events, concert delays, event extensions, or other circumstances beyond the control of Tangle & Verse. Tangle & Verse shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, missed performances, missed reservations, missed events, inconvenience, or related expenses resulting from such circumstances.
Guests who are excessively intoxicated, disruptive, abusive, unsafe, destructive, or whose conduct may jeopardize the safety, comfort, or experience of others may be denied transportation service or removed from an experience without refund.
Guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with transportation services and agree not to hold Tangle & Verse liable for bodily injury, illness, property damage, financial loss, delays, inconvenience, emotional distress, or other damages arising from or related to transportation services, except to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
WALKABILITY & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Many Tangle & Verse experiences include walking on uneven terrain, grass, gravel, stairs, soft inclines, fields, gardens, or outdoor pathways.
Guests should reasonably expect walking distances of approximately one-quarter mile to one-half mile throughout certain experiences and should assess their own physical abilities accordingly.

FALL FOLIAGE EXPERIENCES
Seasonal Variability
The timing, intensity, visibility, and coloration of fall foliage are naturally variable and dependent upon weather patterns, temperature fluctuations, rainfall, storms, drought conditions, seasonal timing, and other environmental factors beyond the control of Tangle & Verse.
Accordingly, Tangle & Verse makes no guarantee regarding peak foliage, specific colors, leaf conditions, scenic visibility, or seasonal timing during any experience.
Natural Conditions & Weather
Tour experiences may be affected by rain, fog, snow, storms, high winds, ice, fallen trees, reduced visibility, mud, road conditions, or other natural events.
Routes, stops, destinations, and itineraries may be modified, delayed, substituted, or canceled at the discretion of Tangle & Verse for safety, operational, or quality-related reasons.
Acceptance of Risk
By purchasing a reservation or participating in a foliage-related experience, Guests acknowledge and accept that the experience depends upon natural conditions beyond the control of Tangle & Verse.
No refunds, credits, or compensation shall be provided due to foliage timing, weather conditions, route modifications, snow cover, bare trees, visibility conditions, or other naturally occurring environmental factors.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Tangle & Verse with respect to your reservation, rental, experience, and/or purchase. These Terms supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings or agreements, written or oral, regarding such subject matter.
Any waiver of any provision of these Terms shall be effective only if in writing and signed by Tangle & Verse.
These Terms shall inure to the benefit of Tangle & Verse, its successors, affiliates, and assigns.
Tangle & Verse reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be available upon request.
